In the platinum category, prominent names include Australia’s left-handed opener David Warner, along with Matthew Short, Sean Abbott, Mark Chapman, Mustafizur Rahman, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and Shakib Al Hasan.
Other notable players in the platinum category are Chris Lynn, Daryl Mitchell, Adam Milne, Tim Southee, Kusal Mendis, David Willey, Usman Khawaja, Zak Crawley, Jason Roy, Michael Bracewell, and Alex Hales.
A total of 40 foreign players are registered in the platinum category, with 6 available exclusively for selection in this group.
Players who do not get selected in the platinum category will move to the diamond and gold categories. Australia’s wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey is among the players in the diamond category.
In total, 87 foreign players have been placed in the diamond category for the PSL draft, while 165 foreign players are available in the gold category.
The PSL 10 draft is scheduled for January 11. Although initially planned to take place in Gwadar, logistical challenges have led to the decision to hold the draft in Lahore, with a formal announcement expected soon.
