No damage caused: Police mobile escapes bomb attack

A search operation was launched in the area during which several suspects were arrested.

PESHAWAR: A vehicle of Nasir Bagh police station escaped undamaged in a roadside bomb attack near Juma Khan village on the outskirts of the city on Sunday.

Police said the vehicle was on a routine patrol in the area when a powerful explosion occurred metres away. No damage was caused to the vehicle or its passengers. A search operation was launched in the area during which several suspects were arrested and shifted to the police station.
