Regional trade: PM encourages businessmen to link Pakistan and Nepal

Sharif expressed hope that the Joint Economic Commission’s meeting will help increase trade.

ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that the chambers of commerce and industry of Pakistan and Nepal could play an effective role in enhancing bilateral trade relations.     



“Pakistan greatly values its relations with Nepal, which are based on mutual respect and shared perceptions on regional and international issues,” he said in a meeting with a Nepalese delegation headed by Nepalese Minister for Finance, Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Shanker Prasad Koirala, at the Prime Minister’s Office here.


Sharif expressed hope that the Joint Economic Commission’s meeting will help increase trade.
