Tragic : Passenger abandoned at roadside dies

ISLAMABAD: A 45-year-old man going to Kharia on a bus, died of heart attack on the Islamabad Expressway in the Koral area. Police said that Yunus Khan, was taken off the bus when he complained to another passenger about having trouble breathing. He fell unconscious, soon he got off the bus, the police said. The bus driver reportedly drove off without waiting for Younus to recover. The police took the body into custody and informed Khan’s family. The police lodged a case. Meanwhile, a woman died during a collision between a coaster and a truck on the Islamabad Expressway in the same area. The police said that the woman, who was seated on the front seat of the Lahore-bound coaster, went through the windscreen after a truck hit the coaster from behind at Koral Chowk.She was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.
