False printing: JUP candidate moves court on election symbol

JUP candidate requested the court to direct the ECP to reprint the ballot papers.

LAHORE: Qari Zawar Bahadur, the Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan (JUP) candidate in NA-126, has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court against the wrong printing of an election symbol allotted to his party by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

He said the ECP had allotted the symbol of key to his party but a dressing table appeared on the ballot papers. He said he had been campaigning for the key symbol.

He requested the court to direct the ECP to reprint the ballot papers.
