TV announcement: Lost child found, handed over to parents

Unable to find the child on their own, parent­s put an announ­cement on TV about the missin­g boy notice­d by Zaheer.

FAISALABAD: A child who went missing a week ago was handed over to his parents on Friday after. Police said the boy was found by Zaheer, a citizen, last week who then informed them that he had found a boy child and unable to find hid parents was keeping him at his home.

On Friday, he saw a TV announcement about the boy given by his parents and contacted them. He said he had found the boy, crying on a roadside at the night. He said he looked for the child’s parents, but did not find them. He then took him home. Police said Ghulam Dastagir, a resident of Toba Tek Singh, was attending a wedding in D-Type Colony last week, when his two-and-a-half-year-old son, Ilm Hussain, stepped outside. They said the child’s mother later missed him and raised an alarm. Unable to find the child on their own, they put an announcement on TV about the missing boy noticed by Zaheer.
