
The Westridge police on Monday arrested eight suspected robbers and seized arms and ammunition from their possession.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a hideout and arrested Maqsood, Amir, Aurangzeb, Fazal, Sharjil, Usman, Shakeel and Amir.
The arrested robbers confessed to their involvements in more then 90 incidents of robberies in Rawalpindi and Peshawar.
More disclosure is expected, an official privy to the investigation said.
