KARACHI: Tension gripped Baldia Town after an activist of the banned Peoples Amn Committee (PAC) was gunned down while four others, including a Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) sector in charge, were injured on Sunday.

Following the incident, a heavy contingent of law enforcers arrived at the area to avoid possible clash between both groups. No arrests have been made as yet.

A 36-year-old police constable, Azhar Iqbal, who was posted at the Baghdadi police station on intelligence duty, was gunned down at Khadda Market.
