Have you seen: Miley Cyrus’ new pixie cut

Yup, it’s Miley Cyrus! She’s gotten rid of her long girly curls and asked Chris McMillan (famous for styling Jennifer Aniston’s hair in “Friends”) to give her a punky, plantinum pixie cut. Still golden-blonde, Miley’s boyish-hairdo is long in the front and shaved on the sides.

What we love

Her courage and guts! This hairdo requires some serious guts and Miley’s got them. Her short hair makes her eyes more noticeable and her intense spikey look is definitely reminiscent of the punk hairstyles common in the 80s.

Unfortunately

While the new look is courageous, edgy and cool, we aren’t sure “pretty” or “beautiful” are the correct adjectives. The shaven parts are too extreme and for some reason she looks more like a boy than a girl. Regardless, Miley seems ecstatic so hats off to her confidence!
