ANP member among six killed in Karachi violence

ANP's Naseeb Khan was also a member of Pakhtun Action Committee.

KARACHI: A former office bearer of Awami National Party (ANP) was killed in Karachi on Monday, along with five other people in the cityu on Monday as violence continues unabated, reported Express News.

At least eight others, including a woman, were injured in these acts of violence.

Unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at a car near the Asghar Shah Stadium in North Nazimabad, killing ANP member Naseeb Khan. According to ANP, Khan was also a member of the Pakhtun Action Committee (PAC).

Soon after the incident, protesters started pelting stones and burnt tires in the area resulting in a traffic jam.

Separately, the body of a 19-year-old, identified as Inayatur Rehman, was found in a water tank of an under-construction building in Federal B Industrial Area, block 22.

Another body was found in the Bhains Colony area, while a body bearing torture marks was discovered in the SITE area.
