KARACHI: Rangers arrested six suspected terrorists during an operation in the Steel Town area of Karachi and seized heavy weaponry from them, reported Express News on Thursday.
During the targeted operation, the Rangers recovered four Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), other combustible materials, detonator wire, ball bearings, two Kalashnikovs, four 222 rifles, two repeaters and one pistol.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, several other raids in conjunction with police have also been conducted in the city, and around 18 suspects have been arrested during those raids. He added that around 12 weapons were also seized from the suspects.
