The second day of the “Fall Fest” at Preston University featured painting, sketching and dramatics competitions.
The universities that competed in the arts category included Hamdard University, Women’s Institute of Science and Humanities, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), University of the Punjab (PU), International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Islamia College University Peshawar (ICUP) and Preston University Islamabad, Kohat, Peshawar and Lahore.
In the painting competition, Sadia Anwar of Preston University Islamabad bagged the first position, while the second position was awarded to Aatifa Mukhtar of Hamdard University Islamabad. Ammara Siddique of IIUI came third.
In the sketching competition, the first position went to Fahad Mushtaq of the PU, the second position was won by Fahad Pervez of Preston University Peshawar, and Sher Muhammad of Preston University Kohat stood third.
Universities who took part in the dramatics competition were Hamdard University, ICUP, PU, IIUI (women’s campus), QAU, and Preston University Islamabad and Preston University Peshawar. The first position was awarded to the PU, second position was given to ICUP and QAU got the third position. The festival will conclude on Wednesday.
