Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly facing a dispute with neighbours over plans to build a fence around their newly purchased lakefront property outside Cleveland.

The singer and NFL star reportedly purchased a Gilded Age mansion on the Lake Erie waterfront earlier this year for $5.35 million.

According to reports, the estate covers 3.5 acres and includes approximately 21,000 square feet of space.

According to DeuxMoi, Swift and Kelce are allegedly planning to install a fence around the perimeter of the property.

A source claimed some neighbours are unhappy with the proposal because they believe the fence could obstruct their views of the lake.

The disagreement reportedly led to a meeting between the couple and neighbours to discuss the plans.

The source also claimed that the original proposal would have extended the fencing towards the beach.

That part of the plan has reportedly since been abandoned. However, it remains unclear whether the changes have resolved concerns among nearby residents.

Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly addressed the reported disagreement.

Reports has also prompted reactions from people online, with some commenters expressing support for the couple's privacy and right to secure their property.
