American Horror Story: 13 is set to bring together familiar faces and new characters as the anthology series prepares for its highly anticipated 13th season.

The upcoming season, officially titled American Horror Story: 13, will premiere on September 24 after initially being teased for a Halloween 2026 release. The new instalment will connect elements from several previous seasons, including Murder House, Coven, Hotel and Cult.

Exclusive first-look images reveal 10 new and returning characters, with several cast members reprising roles from earlier seasons. Billie Lourd returns as both Winter Anderson from Cult and Mallory from Apocalypse, while Evan Peters reprises Tate Langdon from Murder House and Apocalypse, as well as Mr. March from Hotel.

Peters' return as Tate also features the character in the infamous Rubber Man suit. The images also appear to feature Kai Anderson, Winter's brother from Cult, in the background.

The new season will also introduce characters played by Avantika, Alex Consani, John Waters and Madelaine Petsch. Consani plays Morwenna, while Avantika portrays Ophelia, with both characters described as new witches joining the Coven during a time of crisis.

Waters plays Mr. Phibes, a medical specialist who works with Constance Langdon, played by Jessica Lange, and Ben DeSoto, played by Joey Pollari. Petsch portrays Kira, Ben's girlfriend, who has an obsession with the number 13.

Orlando Jones will also take over the role of Papa Legba, previously played by the late Lance Reddick in Coven. The season is expected to feature several more returning characters as the franchise crossover unfolds.
