Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand SKIMS has issued a strong denial after its products were unexpectedly linked to a major cocaine smuggling investigation in the United Kingdom, according to reports.

A spokesperson for SKIMS confirmed the company had “no knowledge whatsoever” of the criminal activity after authorities discovered approximately $8.4 million worth of cocaine hidden inside a truck transporting SKIMS merchandise. The statement was first reported by TMZ.

“SKIMS is aware of the recent news involving a shipment with our products,” the company said. “We want to be absolutely clear: SKIMS had no knowledge whatsoever about this criminal activity. We had no connection to the smuggling operation, the driver, or the truck.”

The incident reportedly involved a Polish truck driver who was stopped by the UK National Crime Agency (NCA) at the Port of Harwich in Essex after arriving from the Netherlands. Officials said the vehicle was carrying 28 pallets of SKIMS products, which were part of a legitimate commercial shipment.

Authorities allege that the truck had been modified with a concealed compartment used to hide around 90 kilograms of cocaine. Investigators believe the drugs were loaded during a brief stop that was not initially disclosed by the driver.

The driver has since pleaded guilty and received a prison sentence for his role in the smuggling operation.

SKIMS, which launched in 2019, has grown into a multi-billion-dollar global fashion brand offering shapewear, loungewear, and sportswear. The company is currently valued at around $5 billion following rapid international expansion.

While authorities have stressed that neither SKIMS nor its logistics partners were involved in the criminal activity, the case has drawn attention due to the brand’s high profile and the scale of the drug seizure.
