Caitlyn Jenner dragged into explosive lawsuit over alleged crypto pump and dump scandal
Investors claim they lost huge sums after a celebrity backed cryptocurrency allegedly crashed

Caitlyn Jenner is facing a lawsuit connected to an alleged cryptocurrency pump and dump scheme tied to a meme coin promoted across social media.
According to reports filed in the United States, investors accused Jenner and several associates of artificially inflating the value of a digital token before large sell offs allegedly caused its price to collapse. The complaint claims buyers were encouraged to invest through celebrity promotion and online hype before suffering substantial financial losses once the token rapidly lost value.
The lawsuit centres around a cryptocurrency project linked to Jenner’s name that gained attention earlier this year during the continuing boom in celebrity backed meme coins. Plaintiffs alleged the token experienced a sharp surge after promotional activity online, only for insiders and early holders to allegedly cash out while ordinary investors were left with losses.
Legal filings reportedly accused Jenner of helping create misleading excitement around the coin through public endorsements and social media posts. The complaint further alleged that the project lacked transparency regarding its structure, insider holdings and long term plans.
Jenner has not publicly responded in detail to the lawsuit at the time of writing. No criminal charges have been announced, and the allegations remain part of an ongoing civil case.
Celebrity linked digital coins became especially popular during the early 2020s as influencers, musicians, athletes and reality television stars began launching or endorsing meme based cryptocurrencies. Many projects generated intense short term attention before collapsing in value. Regulators in several countries later increased scrutiny over whether some promotions violated financial advertising rules or misled inexperienced investors.
Jenner’s involvement in the cryptocurrency world surprised some followers because the former Olympic athlete and television personality is better known for appearances on reality television and political commentary. Over the years, Jenner has remained a major public figure through projects connected to the Kardashian family and programmes such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Online discussion surrounding the lawsuit intensified after users began resurfacing old promotional posts connected to the cryptocurrency. Critics argued that celebrity influence can easily attract inexperienced buyers into risky investments, particularly when projects gain momentum through viral internet culture rather than financial fundamentals.
The lawsuit remains ongoing, and a court has not yet determined whether the allegations against Jenner and others involved in the project have merit.
