Gordon Ramsay is shutting down viral claims that a dog pooped inside one of his London restaurants, calling the controversy “over-exaggerated clickbait.”

The drama started after TikToker Gizzelle Cade posted videos from Ramsay’s Street Pizza restaurant in Battersea, claiming a dog was allowed to use a pee pad inside the dining area while customers were eating nearby. The videos quickly spread online and sparked debate across social media.

Cade also alleged that staff failed to properly handle the situation and claimed she was still charged the full bill after leaving the restaurant with her family.

Ramsay has now denied that the dog ever urinated or defecated inside the restaurant. Speaking about the incident, the celebrity chef said CCTV footage showed the dog “under no circumstances” went to the bathroom at all.

He also claimed the situation was exaggerated online and described the backlash as part of a “smear campaign” against the restaurant.

According to Ramsay, dogs are only allowed in the terrace area of the restaurant, not inside the main dining space.

The incident has continued dividing social media users, with some criticizing the presence of a pee pad in a restaurant environment while others believe the controversy was blown out of proportion.
