Streaming giant Netflix has moved swiftly to secure the future of its political thriller 'The Night Agent', announcing a fourth season less than a month after the release of its third instalment, signalling continued confidence in one of its most successful action dramas.

The renewal, confirmed shortly after Season 3 debuted on February 19, will see production shift to Los Angeles, with Gabriel Basso set to reprise his central role as Peter Sutherland, the low-level agent turned high-stakes operative.
