KATSEYE performs at Coachella without Manon Bannerman amid group hiatus
KATSEYE performs Coachella debut without Manon Bannerman, who remains on hiatus from group activities

KATSEYE made their Coachella debut on April 10 with a five-member performance, as Manon Bannerman remained absent due to her ongoing hiatus from the group.
The group, consisting of Yoonchae Jeung, Sophia Laforteza, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel, performed a set featuring tracks including “Pinky Up”, “Debut”, “Game Boy”, “Gnarly” and “Gabriela”. Choreography for the performance was adjusted to reflect the group’s current five-member formation.
During the set, KATSEYE also invited EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami on stage for a collaborative performance of “Golden”, adding a guest segment to their festival appearance.
Bannerman did not perform at the event, although she was reported to be present at the festival. Her absence follows an announced hiatus from group activities earlier this year. Management company HYBE confirmed her status in a statement, saying “Manon remains on hiatus.”
KATSEYE previously announced Bannerman’s temporary withdrawal from group activities, stating, “Hello. After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing.”
The statement continued, “We fully support this decision. KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right.”
Following the performance, Bannerman addressed fans on Instagram Stories, writing, “6 milli of you, sending warm hugs and kisses to all of u. Thank you,” alongside a personal image.
Fan reactions on social media reflected mixed responses, with some expressing disappointment at her absence during the group’s Coachella debut.
Bannerman initially announced her hiatus in February, later updating her social media profile, which now reads “Mademoiselle Manzanita.”
