Gucci Mane has referenced Pooh Shiesty and a recent criminal case in his newly released track "Crash Dummy".

The song, released on Friday, includes lyrics that appear to address allegations surrounding a January robbery and kidnapping involving the 1017 Records artist. Gucci Mane suggests he believed he was attending a legitimate meeting before the situation escalated.

“Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy, and after all that, boy, you still signed to me,” he raps on the track.

In another verse, he describes entering what he thought was a business setting before tensions became apparent. “I walk in the room, you can feel the pressure building/N***a dapped me up there, whole time they plotting against me,” he says, referring to the alleged incident.

The track also appears to mention Pooh Shiesty’s co-defendant Big30, who is among several individuals charged in connection with the case. Big30, whose real name is Rodney Wright Jr., was granted a $100,000 bond by a federal judge, although the order was subsequently stayed.

Prosecutors allege that Pooh Shiesty, along with eight others including his father and Big30, lured victims to a studio under the pretence of a business meeting before carrying out a robbery and kidnapping. If convicted, those involved could face life sentences.

At the time of the alleged incident, Pooh Shiesty was already under home confinement and wearing an ankle monitor linked to a 2022 federal conviction for conspiracy and drug trafficking.

Earlier this week, a federal judge in Dallas ruled that Pooh Shiesty should remain in custody after finding probable cause in the case tied to allegations involving Gucci Mane.
