Cody Simpson is reflecting on several of his past relationships, including romances with Kylie Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Miley Cyrus, and how those experiences helped shape his personal growth.

In a recent interview, the Australian singer and swimmer spoke candidly about dating while in the public eye during his early years in the entertainment industry. Simpson rose to fame as a teenager, and his personal life often made headlines alongside his music career.

Looking back, Simpson described reality star Kylie Jenner as his “very first love,” recalling their relationship as one of his earliest experiences navigating romance while under intense media attention.

He also spoke about dating supermodel Gigi Hadid, saying their relationship was meaningful and supportive at the time. Simpson noted that the two remained on good terms even after their split and that their time together helped him better understand himself and what he wanted in a relationship.

Simpson’s brief romance with pop star Miley Cyrus also attracted significant public attention. Reflecting on that period, he said both he and Cyrus were going through transitional moments in their lives, which shaped the dynamic of their relationship.

The singer said each of these relationships taught him valuable lessons about communication, maturity and navigating life in the spotlight. Today, Simpson’s priorities have shifted toward family life. He is married to his longtime partner Marloes Stevens, and the couple welcomed their first child together in 2025.

Now focused on his family and career, Simpson said he looks back on his past relationships with gratitude, viewing them as important experiences that contributed to the person he has become.
