Hailey Bieber has revealed that her first pregnancy with son Jack Blues came as a complete surprise after doctors warned she could face complications due to a uterine septum.

Speaking on the SHE MD podcast alongside her OB/GYN, Hailey shared that she had been told the condition, a congenital wall dividing part of the uterus, could potentially make pregnancy difficult or increase certain risks. At one point, surgery was even discussed as a possible step before trying to conceive.

“I wasn’t thinking about getting pregnant at the time,” she explained, adding that she planned to address the issue in the future. “And then I magically got pregnant.”

Her doctor noted that a moderate uterine septum can raise the risk of miscarriage and preterm delivery. Given Hailey’s past health scare. including a mini stroke in 2022, the unexpected pregnancy initially caused concern.

Despite the risks, Hailey remained optimistic throughout. She ultimately carried the pregnancy successfully and welcomed Jack Blues with husband Justin Bieber, whom she married in 2018.

Now parents to an 18-month-old, the couple have embraced family life, with Hailey recently sharing how quickly time has passed and how much she cherishes being a mother.
