Justin Baldoni marked his 42nd birthday surrounded by family support as his legal battle with Blake Lively continues to unfold.

The It Ends With Us director and actor received a public tribute from his father, Sam Baldoni, who praised his son’s character and resilience during what he described as a difficult and unjust year.

In a lengthy social media post, Sam Baldoni reflected on Justin’s birth and upbringing, describing emotional moments from the day he was born and emphasizing the joy his son has brought to their family. He also highlighted Justin Baldoni’s dedication to his own family, including his wife, Emily Baldoni, whom he praised for being a supportive partner.

The tribute concluded with a pointed reference to the ongoing legal turmoil, stating that despite a year filled with “turmoil and injustice,” Justin Baldoni has remained steadfast in his faith and belief that truth and justice will prevail.

The public message comes as Baldoni remains embroiled in a high-profile legal dispute with Blake Lively, who filed a lawsuit in December 2024 accusing him of sexual harassment, retaliatory behavior and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Baldoni has denied all allegations.

The case has drawn widespread attention due to its scope and the involvement of several high-profile figures. Baldoni previously filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times over reporting on Lively’s claims, naming Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and her publicist. That lawsuit was dismissed earlier this year, with all parties denying wrongdoing.

Recent court filings have also revealed private text messages involving Lively and Taylor Swift, adding further public scrutiny to the ongoing dispute. As proceedings continue, both sides maintain their positions, with no resolution yet announced.
