Source says Victoria and David Beckham are blindsided by Brooklyn Beckham’s public comments and struggling to respond

Victoria Beckham is said to be “walking around in shock” following a public Instagram statement shared by her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, according to a source.

Brooklyn’s comments, posted via Instagram Stories, reportedly left both Victoria and her husband David Beckham struggling to process what had been said and how to respond.

A source said the couple were “completely blindsided” by the situation and had not expected their son to address family matters so publicly.

The source said the fashion designer has found the episode particularly difficult. “She’s walking around in shock, unable to believe her son would speak to the world this way,” the insider told Rob Shuter, adding that Victoria has been crying frequently since the statement was posted.

According to the same source, both parents are trying to determine how best to communicate with Brooklyn while also considering the wider impact on their family.

“They’re trying to figure out how to protect their family name while respecting his boundaries, but honestly, they feel completely blindsided,” the source said.

David Beckham is also said to be deeply affected. An insider claimed he has been “pacing the house and replaying conversations in his head, wondering where it all went wrong.”

The source added that he has not been sleeping well and is consumed by thoughts about the growing rift with his son.

Despite their desire to speak directly with Brooklyn, the situation has reportedly become more complicated. According to the source, Brooklyn has “told them explicitly to only communicate through lawyers,” leaving his parents feeling “powerless and emotionally raw.”

Even so, the couple are said to be continuing efforts to address the issue carefully. The source said they are quietly consulting advisers and weighing their next steps, with the intention of avoiding further escalation. “They’re trying not to make it worse,” the insider added.
