Bella Hadid says 'The Beauty' cast gave her 'words of wisdom' during acting debut
The supermodel said that her fellow stars explained "to me that even being crazy and weird is still positive"

Supermodel Bella Hadid is opening up about the support she received from her The Beauty castmates as she stepped into acting with the upcoming FX series, telling People that her costars offered her “words of wisdom” that helped her embrace the challenges of her role.
Hadid, 29, spoke at the New York City premiere of the show, where she thanked her fellow actors for helping her feel grounded and confident even when they weren’t filming together.
Hadid said that despite the cast mostly shooting their scenes separately, her costars were “so impactful” in offering encouragement. “They were able to just tell me a lot of words of wisdom and explain to me that even being crazy and weird is still positive,” she shared, reflecting on the guidance she received while navigating her first major acting role. “And sometimes things are embarrassing and at the end of the day, it’s not embarrassing.”
She added that one of the most important takeaways from the experience was learning to embrace individuality. “We’re all able to be different versions of ourselves and that’s what was most important for me on this set,” Hadid said, noting that the cast made her feel welcomed from the start.
“Ashton was so helpful with just little words,” she said of co‑star Ashton Kutcher, and added, “I love Jeremy so much,” referring to Jeremy Pope, who also stars in the series.
Hadid also noted a memorable moment off set when the cast gathered for a shared dinner, saying, “We were not really shooting on the same sets most of the time… We had one dinner together, which was awesome.”
The Beauty, created by Ryan Murphy, follows a high‑stakes narrative about a tech mogul and a beauty‑enhancing drug with dangerous side effects. The series also stars Isabella Rossellini, Anthony Ramos, Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall and premieres on FX on January 21.
