Netflix’s hit Regency‑era romance Bridgerton returns with its highly anticipated Season 4, set to premiere in early 2026, and it will be released in two parts, with Part 1 arriving on January 29 and Part 2 on February 26.

The season will consist of eight episodes, continuing the show’s tradition of lavish costumes, sweeping drama and emotional love stories that have made the series a global phenomenon.

This installment shifts the spotlight to Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson, whose journey toward love takes center stage.

Based on the third book in Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series, An Offer from a Gentleman, Benedict’s story embraces a Cinderella‑inspired romance after he meets a mysterious woman at a masquerade ball.

Benedict’s love interest is Sophie Baek, played by newcomer Yerin Ha, reimagined from the original novel’s character Sophie Beckett to reflect the actor’s Korean heritage, a creative choice that Ha described as empowering.

Sophie attends a grand ball in disguise, sparking an immediate connection with Benedict that sends him on a quest to find her again.

“We work so well together,” Ha said of her on‑screen chemistry with Thompson, noting that focusing on the story and truly accepting each other’s character motivations helped bring authenticity to their relationship.

Thompson has described the scripts as “dynamite,” blending the magical, fairy‑tale aspects of the story with the emotional reality of the characters’ lives. The narrative is said to weave the charm of a classic romance with relatable human struggles, giving Benedict’s journey both heart and depth.

Season 4 also reunites familiar faces from the Bridgerton ensemble, including Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley, while introducing new characters portrayed by actors such as Michelle Mao, Isabella Wei and Katie Leung.

Filming for this season wrapped in mid‑2025 after an extended production period, and a full trailer released on December 25, 2025, offers a first look at the dynamic between Benedict and Sophie as their story unfolds.
