Netflix to several anime including 'Mob Psycho 100' and 'Kimi ni Todoke' in 2026
Netflix will remove several anime, including 'Mob Psycho 100' and 'Kimi ni Todoke', in 2026 as licensing deals expire

Netflix has announced it will remove more than 100 Originals from its streaming platform in 2026, including several popular anime series.
While Netflix owns the rights to many Originals, others are available under limited-time exclusive streaming agreements that expire next year.
Among the anime set to leave the platform are Mob Psycho 100 Season 1 on May 22, From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke Seasons 1-3 on July 1, Fate/EXTRA Last Encore Seasons 1-2 on August 1, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato on September 13, Forest of Piano Seasons 1-2 on September 28, Kuromukuro Seasons 1-2 on October 4, and Sirius the Jaegar on April 6.
Netflix Originals that are removed may not necessarily be gone for good. According to What's on Netflix, some shows and films have returned after licensing renewals or special announcements. For instance, Anime titles like Bleach have previously left and returned to Netflix multiple times.
With these upcoming removals, 2026 will mark a significant reshuffle in Netflix’s catalogue.
Viewers are encouraged to plan their watchlists accordingly and keep an eye on potential renewals that could bring some of these anime back to the service in the future.
