PESHAWAR:

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan has expressed seri-ous concern over the growing public problems in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, saying the people of the province are trapped in a "tsunami of issues" with no one to address their plight.

In a statement, Humayun Khan said the chief minister of K-P appeared completely unaware of the hardships faced by the public and remained busy touring other provinces instead of focusing on pressing provincial mat-ters.

He said the implementation of development projects in the province was negligible, leaving citizens de-prived of basic facilities.

It is unfortunate that resolving public issues is not among the priorities of government, he said.
