Timothée Chalamet’s public declaration of love for Kylie Jenner at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards has prompted widespread fan speculation that the couple may soon be engaged.

The actor collected the award for Best Actor for his role in Marty Supreme and used his acceptance speech to acknowledge Jenner, marking his most open reference to their relationship to date. Addressing her from the stage, Chalamet said, “Lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years, thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” The camera cut to Jenner, who mouthed back, “I love you, too.”

The moment quickly circulated online, where fans began sharing theories about what might come next for the couple. One Reddit user wrote, “They are getting married x.” Another asked, “Do ya’ll think she already has the ring and is waiting to debut it at the perfect time,” while a third commented, “Damn show us the ring already sh–!”

Similar reactions followed across social media, with one fan joking, “She’s definitely getting that RING now the haters can sthu,” and another predicting, “RING BY SPRING.” Others added, “Okay but why do I feel like the ring is actually coming,” and, “timmy tim better put a ring on it this year.”

Chalamet and Jenner have become a regular presence on the 2026 awards circuit, including a low-key appearance at the Palm Springs International Film Awards, where they avoided the red carpet. At the Critics Choice Awards, the pair arrived partway through the ceremony and were later shown sharing a kiss at the Marty Supreme table.

The couple were first linked in early 2023 and confirmed their relationship later that year with a public outing at the US Open.
