LeanBeefPatty revealed Malevola cosplay after Dispatch developers confirmed her physique influenced the character

Fitness influencer LeanBeefPatty has revealed a cosplay of Malevola, a character from the video game Dispatch, after the game’s developers confirmed that her physique helped inspire the character’s design.

The reveal came weeks after Dispatch launched in late 2025 and received critical attention for its narrative-driven gameplay and character design.

Dispatch, developed by AdHoc Studio, follows former superhero Robert Robertson as he works as an emergency dispatcher guiding local heroes during crises in Torrence, California.

The studio’s debut title features a cast voiced by gaming personalities including JackSepticEye, MoistCritikal and Alanah Pearce.

In November, Dispatch art director Derek Stratton explained that Malevola’s appearance was influenced by a mix of pop culture references and real-life figures.

Speaking to IGN, he said, “She is Cindy Crawford from that commercial meets that sort of hot rod demon lady, and the body type of LeanBeefPatty, who is an influencer who’s like, ripped.”

In mid-December, LeanBeefPatty responded publicly by sharing a Malevola cosplay on Instagram. The post received around 340,000 likes.

In the caption, she wrote, “What a huge honor to be referenced in the character creation of Malevola from Dispatch! (Along with Cindy Crawford). Thank you so much, truly! Please forgive my mildly scuffed semi closet cosplay. Hopefully, I can get a bit of grace in that aspect.”

The post prompted a strong response from followers and members of the gaming community. Voice actor Matt Mercer commented, “Oh my goodness, this is INCREDIBLE!”

Other fans remarked on the connection between the influencer and the character, while some tagged Alanah Pearce, who voices Malevola in the game. Pearce replied jokingly, “Yeah, actually.”

Malevola’s design closely reflects the reference material cited by the developers, though the in-game character stands significantly taller than LeanBeefPatty.

Developers have also indicated that further news about Dispatch may be announced, following comments about a possible second season.
