A GoFundMe campaign launched by YouTuber Reckless Ben for the Mansell family has raised more than $10,000 as a legal dispute involving Bricks and Minifigs continues to attract widespread attention online.

According to reports published on Wednesday, the fundraiser was created in March 2026 to help Bryan Mansell cover legal costs linked to a disagreement over a Lego collection reportedly valued at more than $200,000.

The campaign description alleged that Bricks and Minifigs in Salem-Keizer, Oregon, was continuing to sell parts of the collection after identifying tags had been removed.

The controversy centres on a consignment agreement signed in late 2023 between the Mansell family and the Bricks and Minifigs franchise store. Under the arrangement, the store could sell individual Lego sets while ownership remained with the family, who would receive a 35% commission on sales.

The dispute escalated after franchise operators Chrystal and Robert Gorman were dismissed before ownership of the store changed hands. The pair reportedly sent copies of contracts and security footage to the corporate office to confirm the collection belonged to the Mansells.

Bricks and Minifigs later disputed the agreement, claiming the consignment arrangement had been “unauthorised”. The company also alleged that the Mansell family missed payments and lost access to the remaining sets in November 2024.

Reckless Ben documented the dispute in a lengthy YouTube investigation, which included confrontations at the store and allegations involving local police. Claims of police corruption and harassment made by Ben and others remain unverified.

The company’s official Instagram page has since disabled comments as the legal proceedings continue.
