Cristiano Ronaldo and longtime partner Georgina Rodríguez are married after exchanging vows in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on Aug. 11, 2026.
The Portuguese football star, 41, and Rodríguez, 32, were married in a ceremony attended by their five children, according to a press release. Ronaldo confirmed the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photo of the couple’s hands showing their wedding rings alongside the caption “C❤️G”.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez began dating in 2017 after meeting while Rodríguez was working at a Gucci store. The couple made their red carpet debut at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January 2017 and later confirmed their relationship on social media.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2025, when Rodríguez shared a photo of her hand displaying a large oval-shaped diamond ring. She captioned the post in Spanish, “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” meaning, “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”
Ronaldo and Rodríguez share four children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, daughter Alana and daughter Bella. Ronaldo is also the father of Cristiano Jr., who was born before his relationship with Rodríguez.
The couple previously experienced a family loss in 2022 following the death of Bella’s newborn twin brother, Ángel.
Ronaldo has previously spoken about his relationship with Rodríguez, describing her as the woman of his life. Rodríguez also discussed their engagement in a December 2025 interview with Elle Spain, recalling that she was surprised when Ronaldo proposed.
The marriage marks a new chapter in the couple’s relationship, which has spanned nearly a decade and included their growing family and public appearances around the world.
