Debbie Ryan gives birth to first child with husband Josh Dun

The actress and drummer welcomed a baby girl, Felix Winter Dun, following a home birth shared on Instagram

Debby Ryan has welcomed her first child with her husband, Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun, announcing the arrival of their daughter following a home birth earlier this month.

The 32-year-old actress shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, posting a series of intimate images and video clips documenting the delivery at their home. Ryan, who revealed her pregnancy in September, confirmed that the couple have named their baby girl Felix Winter Dun.

Reflecting on the experience, Ryan wrote: “We sat under the full moon — the cold supermoon — reminiscing on our life as a family of two, and told the child I was harboring that we were ready to become three.” She added that Felix was born “by midday” under Christmas lights, with snow visible outside their bedroom window, and that their daughter was delivered “right into her father's hands.”

Ryan paid tribute to Dun, whom she married in 2019, describing him as “an incredible teammate,” and also thanked her birth team for their support throughout the process. She shared further thoughts on early motherhood, writing: “Her hair is made of silk and her breath smells like vanilla ice cream and every chirp, squeak and whimper is music.”

Dun also shared his own message, writing, “A moonbeam baby has arrived. She is a sweet baby girl and I love her" adding that it was "the coolest thing I’ve ever witnessed. Debby is unbelievable."

Messages of congratulations quickly followed from fans and fellow celebrities. January Jones commented, “Congratulations!!”, while Twenty One Pilots frontman Tyler Joseph wrote, “you did it.” Jennette McCurdy simply added, “felix.”

The Instagram post also offered glimpses of the home setting, including a Christmas tree-lit room, a small crib, and moments of Dun bonding with his newborn daughter. Ryan concluded her announcement by expressing gratitude for motherhood, calling it one of her “greatest honors.”

Ryan and Dun, who began dating in 2013, currently live in Columbus, Ohio.
