Andy Cohen predicts Jen Shah will return to reality TV after prison release
Andy Cohen says Jen Shah won’t return to RHOSLC but predicts she’ll join another reality show after her prison release

Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah is nearing her release from prison — and according to Andy Cohen, a return to reality TV is almost inevitable, though not under the Bravo umbrella.
Shah, 50, was sentenced to 6.5 years in federal prison in 2023 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Prosecutors accused her of selling contact lists to telemarketing schemes that targeted vulnerable and elderly victims. Following multiple sentence reductions, Shah is scheduled to be released on December 10.
During his Radio Andy broadcast on SiriusXM, Cohen addressed longtime speculation about Shah’s potential Bravo comeback. He shut the door firmly on that possibility, stating, “She’s not coming back to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” adding that he couldn’t envision her joining any other Bravo productions either.
Still, Cohen believes Shah’s TV career is far from over. “I would assume she’ll wind up on a reality show of some kind, but it won’t be anything that I’m working on,” he said, wishing her “all the best in her next life.”
Shah’s legal troubles dominated RHOSLC season 2, with cameras capturing her arrest and the fallout among the cast. Her shocking guilty plea later created a rift with castmate Heather Gay, who publicly expressed feeling betrayed after defending Shah for months.
The RHOSLC franchise has continued to thrive without Shah, earning strong ratings and praise from Cohen for maintaining momentum. Shah’s situation mirrors the trajectory of Teresa Giudice, who returned to Bravo prominence after serving time for bankruptcy fraud.
Cohen stopped short of confirming any formal Bravo policy banning Shah, but emphasized that “there has to be a line” when it comes to criminal behavior and the network’s standards.
