TikTok creator and cooking influencer Tineke “Tini” Younger has shared that one of her twin daughters died shortly before birth after she experienced a placental abruption. Younger confirmed the heartbreaking news in a Nov. 26 Instagram post.

The 24-year-old said she and her husband Antoine Wright Jr. lost their daughter Arya (Baby A) at nearly 36 weeks of pregnancy. “This isn’t the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came,” she wrote, explaining that a sudden placental abruption led to Arya’s passing. The couple’s second daughter survived and is “doing really good and breathing on her own.”

Younger expressed that both babies are “so beautiful,” adding that Arya will remain an important part of their family story. She also noted that her surviving daughter will grow up knowing she is a twin with “a beautiful twin sister.”

The chef, known for her viral cooking videos and appearance on Next Level Chef, told followers she would be stepping away from social media to grieve, saying she is unsure when she will return.

Younger and Wright—married since November 2024—documented much of their journey toward parenthood, including their creative cooking-themed pregnancy reveal. The pair announced they were expecting twin girls in July and shared their excitement in a gender reveal video featuring hot pink balloons.

Despite the devastating loss, Younger emphasized that Arya will always be honored and remembered as part of their growing family.
