State of Play Japan November 2025 showcases major PlayStation titles, DLCs, and new releases
PlayStation’s State of Play Japan 2025 revealed new trailers, DLCs, and release dates for major upcoming titles

Sony Interactive Entertainment hosted its Japan-focused State of Play on November 12 2025, featuring new trailers, release date confirmations, and first looks at upcoming PlayStation titles. The event highlighted a mix of returning classics, fresh IPs, and updates to fan favourites across PS5 and PS4.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X was confirmed for release on February 12 2026. The roguelike action title introduces 14 returning characters and new customisation options.
BrokenLore: Unfollow received a January 16 2026 release date, while its follow-up BrokenLore: Ascend was revealed as a new survival horror entry set in Tokyo.
Square Enix showcased Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, arriving on February 5 2026 for PS5 with a new story episode featuring Keifa.
Elden Ring Nightreign – The Forsaken Hollows DLC launches on December 4, adding new characters and boss battles. Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake arrives on March 12 2026 with full pre-orders now available.
Additional announcements included Gran Turismo 7 – Power Pack DLC, releasing on December 4, and Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 4, which introduces the Giant Halberd Dragon on December 16. Fans also saw updates for Coffee Talk Tokyo (March 5 2026), Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse (March 5 2026), and Tokyo Xtreme Racer, returning to PS5 on February 25 2026.
The showcase concluded with Sony’s reveal of a 27-inch PlayStation Gaming Monitor featuring a DualSense charging hook, supporting up to 240 Hz refresh rates and HDR visuals.
The event underscored PlayStation’s commitment to expanding its Japanese catalogue with a blend of global hits and local creativity.
