Gamers are losing patience as Rockstar Games has delayed Grand Theft Auto VI once again. The long-awaited sequel, originally set for fall 2025, will now launch on November 19, 2026, marking its second major delay in less than a year.

Rockstar confirmed the news in a statement on Thursday, explaining that the extra time is needed to deliver the “level of polish” players expect from the studio. “We realize this has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game properly,” the developer said.

The delay adds to the mounting frustration among fans, who have been eagerly waiting for their return to modern-day Vice City — now part of the sprawling state of Leonida. Many took to social media to vent, calling the repeated postponements “painful” and “unfair” after years of anticipation.

Despite the backlash, Rockstar reassured fans that GTA 6 will be worth the wait. Industry insiders claim the upcoming game is the studio’s most ambitious project yet, with cutting-edge graphics, dual protagonists, and a massive open world inspired by Florida’s vibrant landscape.

The first GTA 6 trailer, released in late 2023, shattered YouTube records with millions of views in hours, proving the franchise’s unmatched popularity. But with this new delay, it could be nearly two years before players finally get behind the wheel again in Vice City.

Rockstar has not shared any updates on new trailers or gameplay reveals but promised to release more information “soon.”
