The Embassy of the Republic of Korea hosted K-Wave Festa: Beauty, Beats and Beyond at a local hotel in the federal capital, celebrating the ever-growing global appeal of Korean culture and its deepening cultural ties with Pakistan.

The event, which drew a large audience who warmly demonstrated their admiration for Korean culture, featured acclaimed Korean makeup artist Hoskeok Jung and choreographer Jay Kim, who conducted engaging, hands-on sessions to share their expertise and impart creative skills to Pakistani youth.

The evening opened with a formal ceremony, where Park Jaelark, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Korea, underscored the Embassy's ongoing efforts to enhance cultural and people-to-people exchanges between Korea and Pakistan.

Highlighting the importance of literature, culture, and heritage as enduring sources of knowledge for future generations, he noted that the Embassy has been organising a variety of K-initiatives to foster mutual understanding, citing the recently inaugurated Immersive Gallery at the Islamabad Museum as a prime example of Korea's commitment to expanding cultural cooperation.

The emissary further said that Korean artists and craftsmen are celebrated worldwide for their distinctive creativity and innovation, emphasizing that both the government and the people of Korea cherish their longstanding friendship with Pakistan.

He reaffirmed Korea's commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Government of Pakistan in the years ahead.

She commended the Embassy's efforts to bring the vibrancy of Korean culture to Pakistan and emphasised that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting friendship, artistic collaboration, and cross-cultural appreciation between the two nations.
