Sydney Sweeney was reportedly seen dancing closely with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell during her 28th birthday celebration in Los Angeles, while her boyfriend Scooter Braun looked on.

According to a source speaking to the National Enquirer, the Euphoria actress was seen spending much of the evening with Powell, the two dancing together on the floor.

“It looked like she was with Glen and not Scooter — she was grinding on Glen on the dance floor,” the source said. The insider added that Braun appeared upset by the moment, describing it as “pure humiliation.”

Sweeney later posted photos from the space-themed event on Instagram, including one showing her with an arm around Powell.

The following day, she and Braun were spotted at Universal Studios with her parents, suggesting the pair remain on good terms despite speculation.

The actress and the music manager were first linked in August after being seen together in Italy during Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding celebrations. Powell, meanwhile, was previously engaged to model Gigi Paris before they split in 2023.

Rumours surrounding Sweeney and Powell first circulated during the filming of Anyone But You, where their on-screen chemistry fuelled speculation of an off-screen relationship.

Powell later told The New York Times that their flirtation was part of promoting the film, saying, “Sydney and I have a ton of fun together and we have a ton of chemistry… Sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit — and it worked wonderfully.”

Both actors, along with Powell’s mother, Cyndy, have since confirmed that they remain friends. Sweeney ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino a year after the film’s release.
