IHC CJ's wife appointed as tribunal member

ISLAMABAD:

The government appointed the spouse of IHC Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar as a member of the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue.

"In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 130 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, the Federal Government is pleased to appoint Ms Zahida Sarfraz (IRS/BS-20) officer of Inland Revenue Service as Member (BS-21) in the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue, Bench-IV, Islamabad initially for a period of three (03) years," said a notification.

The Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) in Pakistan is a key quasi-judicial institution.
