Police are reportedly reviewing an arrest warrant for HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk as the probe nears a decision

Seoul police are reportedly reviewing whether to seek an arrest warrant for HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk, according to local reports citing officials familiar with the investigation.
The update comes as authorities say the legal review into alleged “fraudulent unfair trading” is nearly complete, signaling that a final decision could be close.
Commissioner Park said, “The legal review is nearly complete. We believe a conclusion could be reached in the not-too-distant future.” When asked about the possibility of an arrest warrant, he added, “We are reviewing that as well.”
Bang Si Hyuk has been under investigation for over a year in connection with allegations tied to HYBE’s IPO process, including claims that shareholders may have been misled about the company’s listing timeline.
While no final decision has been announced, the case is now approaching its conclusion, with the question of an arrest warrant expected to be part of the outcome.
