Meghan Markle shares Instagram posts referencing seven difficult years and themes of self-worth

Meghan Markle has shared a series of Instagram posts referencing personal challenges, including a message describing the past seven years as the “hardest” period of her life.

The Duchess of Sussex reposted content from astrology-focused accounts to her Instagram Stories on April 25.

The post featured the message, “Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, & Aquarius ending the hardest seven years of their lives on April 25.” Markle, whose birthday falls on August 4, is a Leo.

Earlier the same day, she shared another horoscope post that explored themes of identity, confidence and self-worth. 

The posts come shortly after Markle and Prince Harry returned from a four-day visit to Australia, where they attended events in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.

Their engagements focused on mental health, community resilience and support for veterans and their families.

During the trip, both spoke about personal experiences. Prince Harry said he “didn't want” his royal role following the 1997 death of Princess Diana.

Markle also reflected on public scrutiny, stating, “For now, 10 years, every day for 10 years, I have been bullied and attacked,” adding, “Now, I’m still here.”

The visit also included a speaking appearance by Markle at a podcast-hosted event, where she discussed motherhood and raising her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
