Will PayPal appear on Wireless Festival branding as Kanye West headlines?
PayPal will not appear on Wireless Festival branding, according to reports, amid ongoing controversy

PayPal will not feature on branding for Wireless Festival this year or in the future, according to reports from ITV News, despite being a payment partner for ticket access.
The decision comes amid mounting controversy surrounding Kanye West, also known as Ye, who is set to headline the July event at Finsbury Park. The rapper has faced widespread backlash in recent years over antisemitic remarks and praise for Adolf Hitler, prompting criticism from political leaders and public figures.
Major sponsors have already distanced themselves from the festival. Pepsi withdrew its long-standing support, followed by Diageo, the parent company of brands like Johnnie Walker and Captain Morgan.
Although PayPal is not an official sponsor, it has previously offered early ticket access through its partnership with Live Nation UK Festivals. However, it will not be featured in any festival branding moving forward.
The controversy has also drawn political attention, with Keir Starmer calling the decision to book West “deeply concerning,” citing the need to confront antisemitism firmly.
Despite the backlash, the festival is still scheduled to go ahead, though organisers now face growing scrutiny and the challenge of replacing key sponsors.
