Marvel Studios’ upcoming series Vision Quest is set to revive two villains fans believed long gone from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to The Direct, the Disney+ series will bring back Ultron, last seen in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Raza, introduced in 2008’s Iron Man.
Ultron, voiced by James Spader, has appeared in animated multiversal variants, most notably in 2021’s What If...?, but Vision Quest is expected to mark the return of the original version to the MCU for the first time in over a decade.
Raza, played by Faran Tahir, was the leader of the Ten Rings who captured Tony Stark in Iron Man. He was presumed dead after being killed by Obadiah Stane, raising questions about how his comeback will unfold in the series.
Vision Quest follows WandaVision (2021) and Agatha All Along (2024) as part of the expanding storyline. Paul Bettany will reprise his role as Vision, the android Avenger who died in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) before his resurrection in WandaVision.
The new series will also feature Todd Stashwick as bounty hunter Paladin, T’Nia Mollica as android Jocasta, Emily Hampshire as the voice of AI E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as AI F.R.I.D.A.Y., and Mary McDonnell in an undisclosed role.
The series will also revisit Wanda and Vision’s family. Reports suggest Tommy Maximoff, one of their twin sons first seen in WandaVision, will appear.
Although both Tommy and Billy were erased at the end of the series, their spirits were shown to continue elsewhere. Billy returned in Agatha All Along by inhabiting the body of William Kaplan, and it is speculated Tommy will undergo a similar transition, potentially adopting his comic book identity as Speed.
Vision Quest is currently expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2026.
