Independent wrestler Syko Stu, whose real name is Stuart Smith, remains in critical care but stable condition following a violent attack by Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

The incident occurred on August 23 during a Knokx Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles, where fans, including minors, witnessed the shocking assault. Raja, 25, was captured on livestream repeatedly striking Stu in the head after knocking him unconscious. Other wrestlers eventually intervened and restrained Raja before he left the venue, continuing to shout and livestream outside.

Stu’s brother, Andrew Smith, issued an update on Facebook the following evening. He confirmed that Stu is in “stable but critical care” and asked fans to keep him in their prayers. Andrew also clarified that the family has not created a GoFundMe page, warning that any donation links circulating online are not legitimate.

According to reports, the confrontation escalated after a heated exchange earlier in the night, when Stu appeared to throw a canned drink at Raja’s head. Rampage Jackson later addressed the situation on social media, explaining that Raja believed he was participating in a staged segment. He condemned his son’s actions, adding that Raja had recently suffered a concussion and “had no business being involved” in the wrestling event.

Rampage expressed concern for both his son’s health and Stu’s recovery, stating his primary hope is that the wrestler makes a full and speedy recovery.
