Jennifer Aniston’s close friends have voiced their approval of her relationship with Jim Curtis, describing him as a supportive presence with a calming effect on the actor’s life.
The couple were first linked in June, when they were spotted dining together at California’s Ventana Big Sur resort. The following month, they joined Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka on a yacht trip in Mallorca, Spain.
A source told People that Curtis is “a great match” for Aniston, explaining: “Her close friends love him. He’s amazing to be around. He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it.”
The source added that while Aniston is often balancing multiple projects, Curtis has encouraged her to “slow down a bit.”
Curtis was also present at the launch of Aniston’s LolaVie haircare brand in Los Angeles, where, according to Entertainment Tonight, he appeared “engaged, laughing” and “very happy to be there to support Jen.”
The relationship has also played out subtly online. In April, Curtis commented on one of Aniston’s fitness posts with supportive emojis.
In May, Aniston included his co-authored book Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide in an Instagram post, tagging Curtis, who responded with emojis in return.
Curtis, who describes himself as a “wellness pioneer” and “hypnotist,” has been supported in turn by Aniston, who has liked several of his posts about mindfulness and personal growth.
Speaking to Allure in 2022, she said she would “never say never” about marriage but expressed a greater desire for companionship, describing the comfort of having someone to share difficult days with.
Aniston has not been publicly linked to anyone since her separation from Justin Theroux in 2018.
