VTuber agency VShojo is facing claims from former and associated talent regarding unpaid dues and management concerns following Ironmouse’s announcement on July 21 that she was leaving the agency.

Geega stated, “Instead of using talent money on operating costs, the company should have shut down or at least informed us, but you used us as cash cows to keep things afloat while keeping us in the dark.” She expressed concerns about prioritisation of staff payments over outstanding payments to talent.

Veibae shared her reasons for leaving, explaining that in 2023, she was offered a contract she described as “predatory”, stating that VShojo sought over half of her sponsor revenue and over 60% of merchandise sales. “They basically made it seem like they were my employer, and that they’re the reason for my success,” Veibae said, adding that she faced threats of legal action if she spoke publicly.

Nyanners also came forward, saying she was not paid for a stream during which she was swatted, adding, “Words cannot even describe how angry I was… I trusted them to be able to make good on payments.”

Mint Fantome confirmed she was owed money from VShojo after her involvement in projects, including discussions around forming an idol group. She had signed with VShojo to be a part of this idol group, only for debut to be delayed indefinitely by a year as Mint had other projects paused.

Following Ironmouse’s departure, multiple VTubers announced their exit from VShojo, sharing concerns about contract terms, transparency, and payment practices.
