Tensions from the Glee set may still be lingering years after the show ended, as actress and singer Amber Riley has unfollowed her former co-stars Dianna Agron and Darren Criss on social media.

The move comes shortly after Agron and Criss were seen reconnecting with Lea Michele — a reunion that has reignited long-standing fan debates.

Amber Riley, known for playing Mercedes Jones on the hit musical series, had reportedly still been following both Agron and Criss until recently. Fans noticed the change and quickly speculated that Riley’s decision was linked to her past comments about alleged toxic behavior on the Glee set, much of it involving Lea Michele.

While Riley hasn’t made any official statements regarding the unfollows, social media buzz, particularly from the popular X (formerly Twitter) page The Pop Tingz, noted the timing as suspicious. It follows several years of tension between Michele and multiple Glee cast members, including Samantha Ware, who accused Michele of creating a toxic work environment. Riley publicly supported Ware at the time and spoke candidly about the challenges she faced during the show’s run.

Photos of the recent reunion between Michele, Criss, and Agron circulated online, and while many fans celebrated the nostalgia, others criticized the group for seemingly ignoring past issues within the cast.

Reactions have been mixed, with some applauding Riley for protecting her peace and maintaining her boundaries, while others hope the Glee cast can eventually reconcile.

As fans continue to dissect the drama, one thing is clear: the off-screen legacy of Glee is still as dramatic and layered as the show ever was.
