
South Green secured a place in the final by defeating Malir District in the boys semifinal with a score of 52-42 in the ongoing Kashmir Day Rangers Cup Basketball Tournament.
For the winning team, Zain-ul-Abideen Channa scored 20 points, Hassan Ali scored 15 points, and Daniyal Khan Marwat also contributed 15 points. On the runner-up team, Sameer Saleem scored 14 points, Raza Ahmed scored 12 points, and Abdul Qadir added 10 points.
The tournament is being played at International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court, Aram Bagh, and is organized with the collaboration of Engineering Solutions Company, 31 Wing Abdullah Shah Ghazi Rangers and Karachi Basketball Association,
The match was witnessed by officials from the Commissioner Karachi Office, including Ahmer Pasha, Ali Gohar, and Ghulam Muhammad Khan, along with DSR Rangers Farooq Bhatti.
Technical officials and referees for the match included Zahid Malik, Amir Ashraf, Zaeema Khatoon, Muhammad Al-Sharaf, Naeem Ahmed, and Abbas Khan.
At the beginning of the match, prayers were offered for the late mother of Shahid Satti, Secretary of Sports Journalists Association of Sindh (SJAS).
