Pakistan Tennis Federation announces Davis Cup Juniors team for Kazakhstan

Abubakar Talha, Hassan Usmani, Zohaib Afzal Malik picked for Davis Cup Juniors after trials at Islamabad PTF complex

The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has selected three players for the upcoming Davis Cup Juniors, scheduled to be held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, from May 16 to 24, 2026.

Trials for the Pakistan Davis Cup Juniors team were conducted at the PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad from March 30 to April 2, 2026. A total of 12 players were invited to participate in the trials based on their current rankings and performances.

In recognition of his recent outstanding performance, Abubakar Talha was exempted from the trials.

The final team comprises Talha, Hassan Usmani, and Zohaib Afzal Malik.

Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the PTF, Col. Zia-ud-din Tufail, Secretary General of the PTF, and the federation management extended their best wishes to the selected players and their families for success in the upcoming tournament.
